After spending time on loan at Inter, Vitesse (of course) and this season Carpi since joining from Fluminense, young Brazilian Wallace looks set to head back to Brazil on loan to sign for Gremio.
Before leaving to his 4th loan destination, Wallace signed a new contract with Chelsea – the length of which is still to be disclosed.
Gremio are heading into a new Copa Libertadores campaign and will bolster their right back options with the signing of Wallace.
If reports, are to be believed he will spend the whole of 2016 in Brazil with his new club.
Carpi did have the option to buy Wallace at the end of the loan spell in Italy but that option now seems to be off the table with the latest news.
He is yet to make a first team appearance for Chelsea.
