New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly rumoured to be lining up a bid for Jude Bellingham

Bellingham

Bellingham has been tearing up defences for Dortmund this season, and is being hailed as a future superstar of the game. With Chelsea looking to build on their recent successes and return to their former glory, it seems that Boehly wants to invest in some of the world’s top talents.

It’s no secret that the top clubs in the world are lining up to sign Bellingham who is expected to leave Dortmund next summer. Liverpool and Real Madrid are those that are been most heavily linked but Boehly’s recent arrival in the Premier League has thrown a curve ball into the mix.

It seems quite obvious that Boehly is holding the purse strings and wants to flex his muscle in the transfer market and surely Potter won’t have too many issues signing one of football’s rising stars.

Bellingham would also need to be open to a move to Chelsea which is not a given. No doubt the England youngster will want to be at the top of whichever league he moves to in order to add trophies to his already glittering statistics.

How much truth there is in these rumours remains to be seen but it would really be something quite spectacular to see Bellingham plying his trade at Stamford Bridge next season.
