Damien Duff will join Tottenham Hotspur within 48 hours in an £11m deal, according to several of today’s newspapers.
The Republic of Ireland international, 27, is said to have been offered a four-year, £60,000-a-week contract after completing a medical at White Hart Lane over the weekend.
Duff, who signed for Chelsea from Blackburn Rovers for £17m in 2003, was one of the first signings sanctioned by Roman Abramovich.
