Ahead of Gareth Southgate announcing his 26 man England squad today for the World Cup, Reece James has confirmed that he won't be on the plane.
Je wrote an emotional statement released via his Twitter account to acknowledge that he always feared the injury wouldn't heal in time. The first word "devastated" says it all.
We wish Reece all the best in his recovery and we look forward to seeing him back in a Chelsea shirt after the World Cup break.
