Chelsea’s pre-season kicks off later tonight in Chicago, USA with a game against Major League Soccer’s All-Star team.
Jose Mourinho says he intends to utilise all 16 senior players who have made the trip, which means we will see new signings Michael Ballack, Andriy Shevchenko, John Obi Mikel and Salomon Kalou in a Chelsea shirt for the first time.
Ballack will play alongside Frank Lampard in midfield from the start as the manager tries both the 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 formation.
