The club have confirmed that Russia coach Guus Hiddink will take charge until the end of the season.

Chelsea Football Club is delighted to confirm Guus Hiddink will become temporary coach until the end of the season.
He is due to meet the players later this week.
The club would like to take this opportunity to thank the Russian Football Union for their understanding and cooperation.
Hiddink will undertake his duties with Chelsea in tandem with his job as coach of Russia.
Hiddink was coach of the PSV team that won the European Cup in 1988 and also guided the Dutch club to the Champions League semi-finals four seasons ago as well as three Dutch league titles (2002-03, 2004-05 and 2005-06), the 2005 Dutch Cup, and the 2003 Dutch Super Cup. He has also coached De Graafschap, Fenerbahce, Valencia, Real Madrid and Real Betis as well as the Netherlands, South Korea and Australia national sides. He steered Russia to the semi-finals of Euro 2008.
