Chelsea won the Southern Masters held at Wembley Arena last night. Various ex-Blues such as Gustavo Poyet, Gianfranco Zola and Dennis Wise pulled on their blue shirts once more to play in the six-a-side tournament. QPR, West Ham and Southampton were the other three teams competing for a place in the national Masters final, to be held in Birmingham in September. Chelsea beat QPR 5-1 in the final, with Zola completing a hat-trick. He was later announced as the night’s top scorer with seven goals over four matches.
