Mendy set for first start under Potter

Mendy

Mendy has had a nightmare start to the season after struggling to regain fitness and 2 months out with a knee injury.

But now as Kepa looks to be sidelined with an injury of his own (heel), Mendy will start for the first time under Graham Potter’s leadership as Chelsea take on Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.

Chelsea are of course already through in the Champions League and are expected to top the group in their final group game at home tomorrow night.

The Chelsea faithful will welcome Mendy back in good voice – a popular keeper since joining the club.
