Chelsea will play Valencia in the quarter-finals of this season’s Champions League.
All three English sides left in the competition were drawn against foreign teams.
Quarter-final draw:
AC Milan v. Bayern Munich
PSV Eindhoven v. Liverpool
Roma v. Manchester United
Chelsea v. Valencia
First legs to be played on 3rd/4th April and second legs on 10th/11th April.
The winners of the Chelsea versus Valencia tie will play the winners of the PSV Eindhoven versus Liverpool tie in the semi-final.
In other news, Andriy Shevchenko has denied giving an interview to a German website in which it was claimed he was made the scapegoat for Jose Mourinho’s “public spat” with Roman Abramovich.
“This is complete rubbish. I have never spoken to this German website or to the journalist who claims to have interviewed me,” Shevchenko said on the official club website.
Both Shevchenko and Chelsea are considering what further action to take against Sport.ARD.de.
