One man was the focus of Graham Potter’s press conference before the Arsenal game tomorrow: Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
Given his history with Arsenal and his acrimonious exit from The Emirates, tomorrow’s game will have extra spice for both teams and especially Aubameyang.
When quizzed about Aubameyang, Potter said: “Graham Potter on Aubameyang: “It’s a big game, London derby. Two good teams, Arsenal are doing really well. The history makes it an interesting one for Auba. The past is the past as far as we are concerned.”

Not only that, Potter went out of his way to explain that Aubameyang turned up to training before everyone else in the squad this week to work on his shooting. Obviously this also helps to dispel the myth that the player is ‘lazy’ or ‘isn’t interested’. He clearly cares and it will be interesting to see which Aubameyang turns up to the game tomorrow. Bring it on!
As confirmed by Graham Potter; Aubameyang was the first to report at Cobham yesterday.
