Paige Milian is Sterling’s longtime partner and the mother of two of his three children. She has been by Sterling’s side through much of his success, supporting him every step of the way. Who is Raheem Sterling?
Raheem Sterling is one of the most talented young players in world football today. He is known for his speed, skill and flair on the pitch, having played for some of England’s biggest clubs, including Manchester City and Liverpool. In more recent years, he has emerged as a key player for Chelsea and the English national team, winning numerous awards and accolades along the way. Despite being just 27 years old, Raheem Sterling has already achieved a lot in his career, and is expected to go on to achieve even more in the future.
Sterling was born and raised in Jamaica before moving to England at a young age. After starting out with local clubs in London, he was spotted by scouts from Queens Park Rangers, who signed him to their youth academy. He quickly progressed through the ranks at QPR, and after a string of impressive performances for their reserve team, he earned his first professional contract in 2010.
Sterling’s talent was soon recognized by the England national team, and following several impressive performances in the youth ranks, he was called up to the senior squad for a friendly against Sweden in 2012. Despite only being 17 years old at the time, Sterling made an immediate impact on the international stage and scored his first goal for England just two minutes after coming on as a substitute.
Following this impressive start to his international career, Sterling went on to have an impressive first full season with QPR’s senior team. He quickly established himself as a key player for QPR, and his performances earned him a transfer to Liverpool in early 2013. Sterling made an immediate impact at Liverpool, becoming one of their most important players and helping the club finish second in the Premier League that year.
In 2015, Sterling was signed by Manchester City for a fee of £49 million. This move made him the most expensive English player in history and also one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League. Over the next few years, he went on to enjoy great success with his new club, winning multiple trophies.
Sterling moved to Chelsea in the summer for £47 million.
