Sibir Energy, the UK-listed oil firm, is considering a lawsuit against Roman Abramovich in the British High Court. Sibir plans to name the Russian tycoon as a defendant in a legal action against Sibneft, the oil company in which Abramovich has a major stake, over ownership of a lucrative oilfield. Sibneft and Abramovich strongly deny improper conduct.
