This Saturday’s clash between The Blues and Liverpool is a key game in the title race as two of the best teams in both English and European football face off (let’s be honest we’re being very generous to Liverpool here).
Both teams have extensive histories in both domestic and European competition with Liverpool leading the way between the pair in league championship with a staggering 18.
Liverpool however haven’t won it since the 1989/90 season. On the other hand Chelsea have been one of the most dominating teams in recent times.
Chelsea are the current Champions of England following a dominating first season under Antonio Conte’s in which they sealed the title with several games spare. This followed on from another title win just two years earlier in the 2014/15 season. These titles further backed up the incredible rise of the club following the takeover of Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovich back in 2003.
The Russian has continued to invest in the club in recent years that included most recently the former Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata.
This seems to be paying off already as Morata as had a starring role this season that has included key goals in both the Premier league and Champions league.
You can bet on Chelsea to win here again Liverpool and for the rest of the season as they look to hold on to their league title as well as challenge for another Champions league. Check out the infographic below to see the comparison between the two teams in regards to the trophies won.
