Kalidou Koulibaly has spoken of his tough time settling at Chelsea so far since his arrival in an interview with Corrier della Sera.
He explains how two key things have hampered his start at the club.
Firstly, Tuchel who brought the defender to the club, has left. Only a couple of months after his arrival, the defender saw the man who brought him to the club shown the door.
And then there’s the system. Koulibaly is still adapting to a 3 man defence (preferred by both Tuchel and Potter). He explained that he is used to a 4 man defence in the long spell he was with Napoli.
Despite these adjustments, Koulibaly remains positive and feels as though Chelsea can still win the league this season.
As for himself, getting back from niggling injuries will be the first step on the road to the league title… hopefully.
